Oh hey look a new post!!!!!

I know its been a long time since the last time I have posted anything.  My life has been pretty crazy and I really was not up to posting anything.  Here I am though typing away.... As many of you may already know I graduated from Stevens Henager with my Associates Degree in Medical Assisting.  I will actually get to walk in May, with my sister Brittanie, who also just recently graduated.  I am very excited for that!!  I am currently looking for a job still and I am very eager to put my training to use.  Its just that most company's want you to have at least a year job experience before they want to hire you.  It is very frustrating because I know if they just let me show them I can do the job and that I am a reliable employee that will be an asset to the team if they just put me to work.

So this is what I have been doing since I have been staying home with my kids.  We are big into visiting The Wild Child http://www.thewildchildut.com/  or  http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Wild-Child/132285836811366   They are great it is a big enough place that the kids can run and get their energy out and small enough that I can keep my eye on them all the time. Austin and Josh love it.

I had and SEP conference with Austins teacher today and he is doing great!! I am so proud of his progress that he is making in school.  The only thing Austin needs to work on is he wants that one on one attention with his teachers so he will pretend that he dose not know what he is doing when he is doing his work in class which makes him stay in for recess but its kinda funny when that recess bell rings how fast his work gets done and able to go play. My favorite thing that Austin brings home from school that he has learned at the end of the day the teachers ask if any of the kids have a compliment or something they liked doing that day and when he comes home he always says to me Mom I have a compliment for you and I ask him what that is and he goes I love you because you play games with me.  It makes me feel so good when he dose stuff like that.

Joshua is also doing well in school. His speech is accelerating and is making real progress.  I can now understand what he is saying.  Yes I am finally potty training him I have been slacking on that very badly but like I said its been crazy lately.  Josh's favorite thing to do is to get his Nemo blanket and climb on your lap and read a book.  Sometimes you do not even have to read he just likes to point things out and he tells you his own story you may not understand but its way cute when he dose this.

As February approaches I have been thinking what Love means to me.  The only thing that runs deep in my heart is my family.  I love them so much! Without the people in my life that I have today I would be so lost without them.  I would do anything for my boys they are the one thing in my life that wakes me up and pushes me each and everyday to be the best person, mom that I can be.

School Updates!

Wow time flys by when you are busy that is for sure!  I have now finished school! Yay me it took me from January 2009 to August 31, 2010 to do it all.  I still however have to take my Medical Assistant test to become a full Medical Assistant.  I do that on my own time though.  I am happy to be done with school and happy to be home with my kids again but I do miss being out of the house and the social aspect of school. I will officially walk in May with all of my fellow graduates.  Its funny that I have to wait so long to actually get to wear my cap and gown.  So right now I am looking for a job that will work me during the time the kids are in school so I can be home with them at night.

Speaking of the kids Austin is doing GREAT in school I am so proud of his progress this year! Compared to last year it is easier to get him up and he no longer cry's at school he used to do that all the time and now he goes without tears good job Austin! He dose says that "why do i have to do to school," and "I went to school yesterday I don't need to go again"  He makes me laugh and I look forward to getting him off the bus when he comes home cause he is so excited to tell me about his day.

Josh has started preschool and is doing ok so far it is an adjustment. He likes to do the puzzles at school and singing time is his favorite.  They are also helping me potty train him so that helps a lot we are very close to getting him there he runs to the potty on his own but it has to be his idea if you suggest it he gets mad and cry's and dose not want to go. If you have any ideas let me know we are doing the sticker chart and tickets for going potty which he gets a prize when he gets so many. He still refused to do #2 on the potty though. UGH.

We went to the Zoo yesterday for my nephews Ethan and Benjamin's Birthday.   All I have to say is wow they have sent a lot of animals away for the construction of the new bear facility.  I love the zoo and it has aways been fun I can't wait for the animals to come back and for them to be finished cause it will be so neat to see everything back again. The Kids had a great time celebrating with there cousins.  We also went to build a bear and they got new bears Austin named his Trusty and Josh named his Buzz puppy.

Happy Birthday Austin

Well tomorrow my son turns 6 years old wow where dose the time go it seems like i just barley brought him home.  He will be in First Grade this year a full day of school.  What will i do with my time?  Anyways i just wanted to make sure i posted a Happy Birthday to Austin! Love you!

Horrible at updates but here is one NOW!

We have been a pretty busy bunch the last few weeks.  Jason has taken the boys fishing a lot when its warm that is. The kids really enjoy going out with their dad.  Jason did have a Birthday on the 23rd of April the kids enjoyed spending time with grandma and grandpa Barrett, while we went to the Tuscany.  Is a very yummy restaurant to celebrate. Austin has been attending North Summit up in Coalville.  He is enjoying that but we cannot wait to have the summer here we have 2 more weeks and he is done with his Kindergarten year.  WOW time sure dose fly by.  My parents have been a huge help at taking care of Austin while he has been up there the school has been the best change for Austin.
Josh has been going to therapy for speech and behavior.  He is doing very well with that and I am so proud of his progress.  Josh has Surgery on the 24 of March he had his Tonsil, Adenoids and new tubes put in his ears.  He was a very sick little boy there for awhile but the change in him is so good that it was well worth the few weeks of pain.
I made it on the Who's Who list at school which means I am in the top 10% of my class. I did not think i would do that good I am very surprised that I made it onto this list. I am so glad to be almost done with my classes I have had so much fun meeting new friends and learning new things but I am ready to not be in school for awhile. I do plan on going back again to get my Bachelors degree but that wont be until Josh is in school. I know there is more but I cannot think of anything else at the moment so LATERS

Christmas and New Years!!!

Christmas was great this year the boy's enjoyed it a lot!  We went up to my parents house on Christmas Eve to wait for Santa to come.  He brought us a lot of fun things!!! New years we also went to my parents house and had a great time playing games and laughing and having fun.  Here are some pictures enjoy!

As of right now I have been busy with school and enjoying time with my boys.  Austin is now doing great in school and is loving riding the bus. He actually is excited to go to school now I am really happy about that!

Joshua hmmmm what to say about him.....  Well he is testing mommy lots and he really needs to learn to go on the potty cause when i put him down for a nap or bed he will take is cloths off and run around his room naked.  So thats been fun trying to teach him to stop.  Well thats all for now
